SPONSOR ANGELS

How does the Sponsor Angels program work? We have separate forms for clients requesting financial assistance, and volunteers who would like to provide financial assistance. The process for either party is slightly different – below is more information on what to expect!

REQUESTING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

1. Fill out our form to request financial assistance. This will collect your basic information that we will need to keep on file if we are able to partner you up with a volunteer in your area.

2. We will try our best to match you with a Sponsor Angel. Requesting financial assistance means that there is no guarantee that we will be able to provide services, as we are limited by our number of Sponsor Angels and their own budgets. Matching is done on a first-come, first-serve basis.

3. If we match you with a Sponsor Angel, we will then match you with a volunteer in your area. This is a second step that we cannot guarantee, as we do have requests in areas that may not have a volunteer available.

4. If we match you with a Shopping Angel, they will get in touch with you to organize details about the delivery. Please keep in mind that you will be limited to a budget (which varies by Sponsor Angel). The Shopping Angel that gets paired with you will be instructed to not go over budget. If they call and let you know that your order goes above budget, and if you instruct them to still purchase the remaining items, you are responsible for paying the difference!

BEING A SPONSOR ANGEL

1. Fill our our form to register as a Sponsor Angel. This will collect your basic contact information and details about your sponsorship abilities. We will keep this information in our database for when we receive requests for financial assistance!

2. We will match you with a client. Once matched, we will confirm your budget and provide an e-mail with more information.

3. If we are able to match the client with a local Shopping Angel, they will coordinate details about the delivery.

4. The Shopping Angel will coordinate with a client regarding details about the delivery (delivery date/time, budget, items needed, etc.). This volunteer will go to the store and purchase the items for this client out of pocket – and within budget – then send a picture of the receipt. All reimbursement is done directly between the Sponsor and the Shopping Angel!
